I do a lot of my shooting outdoors. The hood is great for making it much easier to see the LCD screen in extreme bright sunlight. However, there is only one ding I can think of, and that would be that because the edge of the hood extends outside of the edges of the LCD screen on the camera, it is somewhat difficult to use the cursor button which is immediately next to it. Otherwise, this is a wonderful product, and it beats having to shade the LCD with your hands!!

This is a must product to protect your screen. One thing that could be improved on is the way that it must be closed, it takes two hands where one would be better.
Again, I feel this is a must have just for protection.
