Description seems to be mixed up. According to Hoodman, the "H-EYEC22 is for Both Canon 1D MARK III / Canon 1DS MARK III Models. *Also fits Canon 7D & Mark IV."So, it DOES NOT fit the 1D, 1DS up to Mark IIN. I bought the 22mm as per Adorama's product description for my 1D Mark IIN and it is too large. [...] I am returning it to exchange for the 18mm size. So double check Hoodman's website to find your correct size before ordering.

A bit pricey, but very good at keeping out stray light and helping to center your eye properly on the viewfinder.
