My camera does not have a viewfinder so taking pictures in the sun using the LCD can be impossible. This screen shade solves the problem for me and although I've only used it twice so far, I am thrilled with it. It was very easy to attach to the camera and is fairly unobtrusive when completely folded down. It is made of sturdy material and I don't foresee any future problems with it.
