This just makes holding onto the camera feel much more secure. I can walk and hold at the ready and this is what works for me.

Comments about Nikon Nikon Adjustable Handstrap for Digital SLRs:

I just needed a handstrap because I don't like the neckstrap. It's annoying. I use D700, a heavy camera. without a neckstrap, I needed to avoid dropping. Since it is heavy, holding it by one hand and carrying it was pain. I just need a handstrap to carry without holding with my hand. It's good to carry but the bottom plate isn't stable. it's turned when I use it with tripod. Also I can't stand it straight because its plate is narrow. the camera isn't standing straight.
Also padding is not enough and small. it doesn't cover all my hand.
