In theory - a great idea, in reality...not so much. While the silicone skin would help protect against some bumps and knocks, the camera itself is supposed to be more durable than most. Adding the skin just creates problems using some of the camera controls (thumb wheel in particular). So I didn't feel it was wroth the hassle of putting it on.

The cover works wonderful. Would not get the camera with out this skin.
