This digital level is very precise. Sound beeping works well. One can be sure to be level with no visual cue which is better than guessing on a computer. My unit came with its 2 batteries dead. Luckily 4 spares are provided. Never leave permanently on the camera since the plastic clipping mechanism will collapse under pressure, creating a risk of loosing the tiny unit. In conclusion, I wish the integration with a DSLR camera could be more robust but the product is very usable in its current version.

Buttons are too small, difficult to see. The part that attaches to camera is so flimsy it kept falling off at the slightest touch. It finally fell off for the last time, as I can not find it.
Expensive way, but don't miss it.

This module provides a function that could and should be built into SLRs. Though tiny, it provides an accurate and amazingly sensitive indication of when your camera framing is level. It should save lots of time correcting off-level images in Lightroom or Photoshop. Get the model with sound; the sound is unobtrusive and just loud enough that you can hear it -- it is harder to see the LEDs while peering into the viewfinder to frame your shot.

Makes my stitch (and single scenery) shots closer to the horizontal/vertical, even handheld. I use a program to take the tilt out of buildings, but the little level brings my camera shot very close, which also means less cropping to straighten a buildings vertical edge.
