It's a great item once I learned that I must close the 'door' to the camera's battery compartment and open the flap on the 'door'. I didn't know my camera well enough when I tried to use this, but found on-line instructions and it works just fine. The camera and adapter are too new for me to really judge it, but I'm sure it will be what I want it to be used for.
