This battery worked fine with my DMC-ZS3 (original firmware), but would not work with my new ZS7. When inserted, an error message immediately appeared. This seems to be a result of the latest firmware, so other earlier models may accept it unless the firmware has been updated.More info here:[@] would recommend this battery if your camera will accept it. Always have a back up battery.
Bought Adorama brand for Olympus E-volt and was perfect. This one for Panasonic, I noticed a lag in recording/processing. It is slow and gives me a black screen for few seconds, thinking there was something wrong with the camera but eventually recovers. Overall, it's good for emergency back up for the price and would still recommend it.
