I installed this battery grip and it looks and feels great. But the little plastic point that is suppose to strike the battery door switch to allow the camera to turn on, doesn't hit it perfectly... so it doesn't allow the camera to turn on. I would assume the authentic Canon version will have a better fit. When I get one in my hands I will compare the two.
