I got this along with an Canon EOS Rebel XSi. The canon battery works great, but this one will die after < 100 shots even without using the flash. Maybe I got a lemon, some people report good things; but I wont be wasting any more of my money on one of these and I'd encourage you to avoid it too.

I saw a few bad reviews of this product. But I decided to try it out for myself. It turned out to work as well as the original battery, and so far haven't had any problems with it.

This battery came with a Canon Rebel T1i kit. It doesn't pop up when you release the lever. I had to use superglue and string to get it out. I'm afraid to use this again.

I have only used this battery a couple times, so I'm not sure how well it holds a charge/how many pictures one can take with it. However, a serious issue is that it's fatter than the original Canon battery, so it gets stuck in the camera body. It doesn't drop out when you press the battery release tab in. It took me several frantic minutes to get the battery out - by swinging/jostling the camera body (with a once-in-a-lifetime photo op about going on). I'm going to add a tape pull-tab to the battery to facilitate removal, but if that doesn't work then I'm chucking it.

This battery has been great so far, it's long-lasting, and it's a great convenience to not have to use regular batteries anymore. I bought this with my camera bundle, so it's also great to have a backup for trips and such.
