Charges quickly. Put it on the charger after morning shoot and it was recharged in time for afternoon shoot.

The Stamina function from Sony get the work done.
The capacity is even in cold weather like here in Sweden -15-20 degree Celsius outstanding. If You have extra grip to Your Alpha 900, with two batterys from Sony it is no need for spare for a long photo session.

There's not much choice involved if this is the battery your camera uses. You can decide whether you'd rather find a third party battery, but consider this first:
Sony's Infolithium batteries are the most sophisticated batteries available; displaying percentage of remaining capacity and using one battery up fully before moving to the next when two are installed in a vertical grip. These are incredibly convenient and sophisticated features, and I will rely only on the original equipment manufacturer to deliver them.

Is a very good battery. I switch them between shoots to make sure I always have a charged battery. So far, I have not had to change during a shoot. One battery last's.

Original OEM battery removes worries about overheating, but gives Sony performance. Won't shoot without it as a spare in the case.
