Pratical bit, seriously help in certain condition and is ieasy to use and to pop up and down. Also should you not need it, jump slide it out and leave it in you bag or even pocket. It is sturdy enough for serious use, but not unbreakable either. Only drawback is than you can not really take it off once you have a speelight on the camera (it is fitted to my 5D MKII and I use 580 EXs.) Otherwise, a top buy for [$] !

Very useful for landscape photography or studio work. It works well even with bright sun, especially focusing through LiveView. The only negative is that the bottom part does not fit snugly around the body, so there is a small chance it could snap off if it got caught onto [...]
