Love this camera so far. There are more than enough great reviews out there and I feel this would be the same. Every major function is very quickly and easily accessible without diving deep into menus. Weather sealing is awesome and really lowers my worries when taking photos close to the ocean or in less than perfect weather.

Video looks great. Even with my clumsy focusing...

Still discovering new features. Very impressed with this camera

The only problem with the camera is that there is ONE dead pixel on the display. not noticeable except when viewing very dark images. (just a tiny blue spec). I would send it in to have it fixed but it's not worth losing the camera for any amount of time. Doesn't affect the photos at all, just slightly annoying.

You've heard about the 7D enough, you should really just buy it. I finally gave in, and it was the best thing I did for my career. I use it mostly for video, but it doesn't hurt that the picture quality is incredible. It can be a bit loud while filming, hopefully the newer versions will fix that problem, but with an additional mic it will be no problem.

I was debating between the T2i the 60D and the 7D. I went for it and so far the photos indicated it was well worth it.

I stepped up from dig point n shot and 35mm slr film. I considered the 50d but 4 the extra megapixels and video capability I spent the extra bucks. I'm glad...I may end up with a 50d as a second camera. I do a lil wedding work and family/senior pics and the 2 weddings I've done so far have produced some great shots...even tho I experimented with settings a good bit in practice and the first wedding I still got great pics. I also have a gaggle of my own kids and grandkids and from photos of my grandkids playing to my son dirt bike riding the camera seems great for action, will be taking it to some pro motorcross this summer! Best advice just get it and shoot...shoot...shoot! I'm looking forward to adding some lens for more versitility but the kit lens 18-135 provides adequate coverage to get started.
