I bought this camera for my brother. He has never had a digital camera so I wanted to get something that was dependable yet easy to operate. I have had a lot of experience with Canon Digital Cameras (I have the 40D model now) so I knew it would be good. My brother has been using it for over a month now and he is amazed at the ease of using it. And I was amazed at the quality of the pictures he has taken. This is a great camera for a beginner.
