I use this camera for taking all kinds of pictures (family, fun shots, Scenery etc). The picture quality is great. I am using it for some art photography as well and find the resolution of the pictures to be really good. It does use up a lot of battery power. But all in all, I am very pleased with this camera and would recommend it to anyone.

I bought this camera for my 8 year old daughter who has expressed interest in photography. Its simplicity and features have only increased her interest and thirst for instruction on its use. Its easy to use and allows her to grow into a more advanced level over time. She loves the video it allows you to record. The only con I think is the fuzzy LCD especially with movement.

Got this for my Mom; she was quick to pick it up and start shooting and downloading. Good work Canon! Great Camera for the $. More than enough to get anybody printing to 8x10 or bigger.
