I love that it has manual controls. Auto focus is very good. Macro feature is excellent. Needs a lot of light, though. Lots of noise at 800 iso. Acceptable at 400. Nice and sharp below that. I've been using rechargeable AA batteries and they last for quite a while. You'll get a "low battery" warning if the camera is out in the cold. No biggie, though. The camera itself doesn't store photos -- you need a card to take even one photo. The kit was supposed to include a card but didn't. Not that big of a deal but it would have been nice to try it out right away. I'm very happy with this camera and the price was right. I've always had a pleasant experience with Adorama, whether it's renting or purchasing equipment from them. Thank you.
