I've shot thousands of pictures with this camera, it's reliable, and yields great quality pictures. Typically I use my telephoto with this body and my wide angle lens with my older Rebel XT. I bought this because of the great service from my XT.

I have 3 kids under 5 years of age and have been using a point and shoot for years now. I finally upgraded to this camera b/c my sister had it and always took the best photos. She showed me the ropes and I absolutely love it. I get great close-ups that I couldn't with my previous camera. I haven't taken the time to play with the shutter speed yet, but overall I am totally happy with this camera. In fact, the parents in my kindergartener's class have asked me to be the official photographer b/c my photos were dramatically better than any of theirs.
