It's very small and compact which makes it easy to carry around. I use to take pictures of family, it takes very good photos and the color quality looks amazing. The macro is awesome on this camera, I can focus on the smallest things very close up.

4th one I've bought for different family members.

For months, I had been trying to find a pocket-sized camera that would come close to rivaling the performance and quality of professional cameras. Time-to-ready after power-on, quick shutter times, small delay between shots, while still maintaining a great quality photgraph and ease-of-use for my wife. This camera fits the bill perfectly, and at a super price.
The only thing I don't like about this camera is the proprietary battery. It would be nice to throw a couple of AA batteries in the camera in a pinch if needed. Not a deal breaker as I can keep a charged spare on hand.

Great camera for the price and use for casual photography, travel, family events, etc. Metal construction feels solid, buttons are fine, and the colors are attractive.

Used to use a pentax and this is my replacement. No regrets here.

The lag time is small, and so I can take more photos in a short span. Works great when your subject is little kids who won't pose for a photo. I am worried about the day it will be dropped on concrete floor. Is there some kind of protective casing for this camera (like they have for iPhones)?
