After several years of not being satisfed with the results of my more expensive Kodak, I shopped with the idea that I would spend several hundred more dollars to get a camera that would perform to my standards; and then the price was even lower than what I had paid for my Kodak, yet it does so much more. I am thrilled to give this Canon, a sophisticate point and shoot, a big thumbs up. Best of all, it fits in my shirt pocket.

After searching for a while, I found a good website that tell you all about camera and how to take good pictures ([@]), I have limited budget, so I choose to get Canon SD750 as KenRockwell recommended for its good pictures and simple to use. I think this is the best price that I can get without tax and free shipping. I just receive it today, and try quite a few pictures. The camera LCD has tiny scratches which does not matter to me, everything else included: battery, charger, manual and CD programs and drivers, 1 cable for video, 1 USB cable to connect to a computer. Those accessories were not mentioned on the site, that confused mefor a while. The box has original refurbished label from Canon. I spend only 5 minutes to learn and know how to use it, I think the camera is nice and easy to use. On kenrockwell.com, he suggests that use vivid mode for the pictures, however, I think that will be good if you use the camera for outdoor pictures, if you are taken picture indoor, I think automatic setting give you a better picture, more real than vivid mode. I have bought a SDHC card, for the maximum resolution, the memory will store about 1200 pictures, enough for me to take it on any occasion. You may think to get more batteries somewhere for safety, you don't want to have a big memory card with only 1 battery, in case you travel, no more battery when you need to take a picture would be a worst case scenario. Don't be in that situation, a few more dollars must be spent (-:)I don't have any sample for the picture, but you can easily find the sample on amazon.com, many users are posting nice pictures there. So far, I am happy with it, I think it is far more better than my Olympus C3000 (it takes good pictures too). Hope that you will love it as I do!
