I bought this camera for the g/f. She needed small purse friendly shoot with decent battery life. The picture quality is pretty good on this very small camera. For those with larger hands, this camera might not be as user friendly. I don't recommend this camera if you have high expectations for low light shooting environments. Picture file size is very usable.

I am not a technical writer for cameras and don't understand allot of it. But, I do know it is difficult to put everything you want in as small a package as an ELPH. With all the ELPH cameras out there it was a difficult choice for this neophyte. On a casual level of photo taking we are very happy with it and the HD video is awesome. The size of the LCD is amazing and the features it offers is remarkable for our use. Good value and and the price was the best.
