I took this camera to Europe as a fill in for my DSLR. Turns out I used this camera more than my DSLR.
Once I discovered the 3200 ISO feature then those challenging low light shots of museums, old buildings and churches were a thing of the past.
I used the video to capture some sound bites of the areas we visited and I like the quality of those bits.
I used this camera in minus Celsius temps for nearly three months and it never malfunctioned or gave me problems with the battery. This camera and a small table top tripod will get you almost any photo you want.
I like also the three shot self timer feature for those group shots and impromptu self portrait shots.
This camera is good for those get together shots with friends.
If you don't want to carry a large DSLR around while you are scouting out the area then this is a good camera to have.
