Excellent right out of the box without reading the directions. I had owned a Canon before so it was much the same, but better. I like the flip up and down flash. The LCD is brighter than the results that I get on the computer, but if I read the manual perhaps I can resolve that.

I got this as a camera I could carry with me. It needed to have the same picture quality and zoom capabilities as my DSLR. I was pleasantly surprised! Excellent zoom and the pictures come out clear with good color.

used for personal family use. easy to use controls, and nice size lcd screen. One thing that disapoints is the battery life.

We just ordered this for Christmas and LOVE the zoom! The LCD is a great size and though we haven't begun to decipher the many options available, we've liked the results using the easy and auto settings. If it's all about the zoom, LCD size, megapixels and options...this is a good bet for you.
