I started out years ago with Kodak Easyshares and have played with everyone elses other brands of cameras. I just happened to get a slammin deal on a ex-Z57(an earlier model) after a guy knocking it out of my hand with the shutter out... I had to get a new one. So I bought this one about a year ago and I wont get any other Point & Shoot camera. I am just starting my photography business so I mainly use DSLRs, but if I were to recommend a P&S it is any of the Casios.
I love the color that it produces compared to any other camera that I have used. Other cameras tend to have a lot of color casts, blown highlights, flash not powerful enough, slow shutters, etc. For the average consumer that just wants good pictures and doesn't know the difference in changing settings, this is an awesome camera for the 'Auto' funtion user. Really good white balance and a very powerful flash(for an onboard one) that you can also change the power setting(-2, -1, 0, +1, +2).
The only downfall for me is that when you turn the flash off completly it trys to compensate by kicking up the ISO generally 800 and becomes noisy like most cameras do when the ISO is high.
Good 'Presets' if you are into that kind of thing. Awesome Battery life(I've used it for about a year and just recently took 300 pictures with the viewfinder & review on... and 4 20 second videos on one battery cycle). Good Exposure compensation(EV Shift).
Overall, great camera for toting around in your purse or pocket for good shots in any instance.

Lugging around semi-pro gear at a casual party spells "nerd" on your forehead, and that is where a sweet little unit like this is in its element. Cheap enough that you won't have to sell the house if you lose it and pretty enough to beguile your subjects when taking shots at a party, it is a classic pocket or purse camera.
It strengths include a useful movie function and good LCD for viewing. Downside is that even with 7.2 meg it had average image rendition, with fairly flat colour rendition. This was most noticeable with low light shots. Flash doesn't help this much either.
If you take some good shots and then don't delete then, it is a pretty good electronic "brag book" for the baby shots.
Great for a take anywhere happy snappy camera, but you won't be mistaken for a pro, and neither will your shots.
