Comments about General Electric General Electric X5 Digital Camera, 14.1 Megapixels, 15x Optical Zoom, 2.7 inch LCD Display, Black:
I use this mainly for taking pictures of my son, wildlife, and whenever I go on trips. It has a ton of settings so you can find the right one for any situation, it has an amazing picture quality, pretty good on my double A batteries, and is a lot of fun to use. The flash can be manually shut for situations where you can't use it, it fits well in your hands, but it isn't small, but then again nothing can be perfect and it's harder to lose this way. ^_- I got this as a gift for my wife and she absolutely adores it. You can make this camera do just about anything you want, and a cool little feature I thought I'd add is not only does it have a beautiful LCD screen, but the viewfinder is digital too, which is very amusing. I'd recommend this to anyone who has a family or is going on vacation.

My wife purchased this camera for me for our family vacation to Myrtle Beach South Carolina. She has purchased three different cameras in the last three years. I'd have to say the X5 has been the best. I have finally found the perfect camera. It is so easy to use. The set program dials makes it extremely user friendly. All I had to do was point and shoot. The pictures turned out perfect. I loved being able to catch my son dodging waves in the water over a hundreds yards away. Play back mode allows you to increase picture size and crop or to fade unwanted scenes. This camera is a must have. My friend is a professional photographer and he loves it too. The only set back is the manual doesn't go into much detail. The advantage is the cd rom lays it all out for you but practice makes perfect. My wife had to beg me to put it down. I would like to thank my wife for this awesome camera. Thanks to HSN for the great deal. I would have expected to pay more for such a great camera.
