Bought one for myself loved it so I bought one for my daughter.The camera has great pic quality a decent zoom and overall good in low light,Has many useful modes, not to confusing easy to upload etc... Would buy again.

I knew the features on this camera were limited. I had no problem with that. I just wanted something small to carry around. However, I was HIGHLY disappointed in the quality. Being a Nikon, I expected a lot higher standard. When zooming into pics (at actual pixel size) the pictures are almost grainy looking. The ISO doesn't make a difference. The lighting doesn't make a difference. I will be reselling this camera soon!!!

Camera was purchased for granddaughter on the basis of having purchased same model previously for my other granddaughter. This camera has facial recognition and some video ability, but has a very limited zoom of 3x -not counting digital zoom, which isn't something I'd recommend on any digital camera. The megapixel count is respectable, especially at the price level, and makes this a good basic camera. Overall, not a bad Nikon to have around when you can't afford more or don't want to carry a DSLR.

My son saved his money to purchase his own camera. We first used it to photograph the ice storm in the Northeast. We shot our pics together. I have a Nikon D80. He likes his camera because of the large lcd screen, it has different settings, yet easy to use! He enjoys creating video clips of friends mountain biking and finds it works well for fast action events. It is light to carry and attractive looking. I bought one for my husband at Christmas and recommended it to a good friend, it's that much fun to use!
