My wife and son both wanted a camera compact enough to carry with them at all times. Wife and son are both walkers and hikers. My son is also an avid cyclist, road and mountain bike. His camera is a permanent fixture in his back pack and is already in constant use with good results. My wife is also pleased with her images and the camera size. A camera case came in the package giving necessary protection in purse and pack. The table top tripod has yet to be tried.
