I bought this for its 28mm lens, use of AA batteries and optical viewfinder to use as an SLR replacement while in the wilderness and traveling light. I was not disappointed. It has manual settings and selectable metering. On a trip to Britain last week, I left my D200 in the car and used this beauty exclusively. It has survived cross country skiing and winter running slung around my neck under clothing.
