I use it around house for pics of the kids it fires up quick a little time for the flassh to recharge, but not bad compared to older cameras . this is my second nikon I love the picture quality. this one does have lens error sometimes powering it off. but worth the money

I bought this camera for my wife who is an excellent photographer but wanted a small camera to carry in her purse. This one fits that purpose. I have used it only a little, but I like it. Takes good pictures and is easy to use with a lot of features found on our larger SLRs.

Purchased this camera for my daughter to meet her specific requirements. 1 Easy to learn and use. 2 Have a special optional viewfinder for outdoors/sunny locations. ISO 80 up to ISO 2000 and 8mb file size you can control and create great photo's. The special Electronic Viewfinder is unique, just like an SLR viewfinder, great for bright outdoors.

I purchased this camera as a carry around backup for my D200 when traveling. That was a bad choice. I should have spent my money on a P80. This camera is ok for a beginner just learning to use a digital camera but if you are looking for top quality images you had better buy something else. If you are a Nikon user you will find the menus familiar and easy to use. Camera does ok in ideal conditions. It is not for the serous photographer.

I usually shoot with my SLR, but since purchasing the Nikon Coolpix P60, I find myself using it more and more..............and with great results.
It's fast. Easy to handle. Gives great resolution. All-in-all, it's a terrific addition to your photographic "tool box".
