I use this so far for outdoor scenery - it picked up all the shades of color in the beach skyline and was incredibly clear and detailed. Also for close-ups of items for sale and it worked great in every light and showed every detail and has a great close-up setting for even more detail.

I had tried the 10MP 5x zoom Nikon and thought it was not so great in the quality of construction so I got this one and it is awesome. All Metal, sturdy, good battery door. And the pics are just as good if not better. It also has the wheel menu which is awesome. Plus it looks so much cooler than the other small nikons. I love nikons! But some of the others had wierd colors and this is so sleek.
