Me and my wife bought this as a complement to our Nikon D50 DSLR. We needed something that you can easily carry around in your pocket, takes OK pictures and that can shoot small video clips with good quality. The S210 fulfills these needs to a very reasonable price. It also looks very good and has a big, nice LCD screen.

Drawbacks: Not very good low-light shots because of graininess. Not very fast autofocus and shutter speed. Perhaps a bit flimsy, the lens got stuck once but I managed to snap it back into place. Not for adventure travelers, it is simply not robust enough.
