I bought this camera for my 12 year old daughter and it seems to be perfect for her. She has already gone through all the menus and found the different settings easy to use. It took some surprisingly good "stop action" photos of her and her friends jumping off things outside. The battery doesn't hold a very large charge, so we will probably look at buying a second one to swap out when the first one depletes.
