The flash frequently does not fire, even when set manually to always fire. It may take ten shots to get a correct exposure for a particular scene. Even when the flash does fire (which could be 2-4 of the 10), 9 of those shots may be extremely under or over exposed. The exposure problems may also occur in non-flash shots. Other times the camera may work fine. Video mode button is located in a place which makes it easy to accidentally activate.

Button to turn video recording on is in a location that makes it easily activated by accident.
