Comments about Nikon Nikon D3 - Buffer Enhanced -Digital FX D-SLR Camera Body, CMOS Sensor - Refurbished by Nikon U.S.A.:
I've been using this one for 7 months now, and overall have been very satisfied with it. I wish Nikon came closer to Canon in the MP count (without having to spend $8k), but that's about my only real gripe. High ISO/low light shooting isn't really what I was expecting, but if you want better, get a D3s or D700. I don't like to push this camera much past ISO 2000 as it starts (at least mine does) getting noticeably noisy/softer results. Generally I shoot at ISO 200 anyway, so it's fine....but will go up to 1000 if I really have to.
Everything else is great. A few things I've always liked about Nikon over Canon is the ease of use in navigating menus and the ergonomics/comfort. Nikon makes it pretty easy, and it's the little things that start to add up. This camera enables you to do things quickly and efficiently (while having the capability to produce great results), which is the whole idea.
I've bought a lot of refurbished items from Adorama, and have always been satisfied with what I've received.
