The D7000 is well worth the wait. Compared to the very good D70, it's way more
diverse in terms of its capabilities and features. The included printed manual is
a very good resource, which is the good news. Don't expect to learn the camera's programs right away because of its sophistication. I've had the camera since December and i'm constantly learning through trial-and-error. The D7000 is extremely fast in terms of its focusing in low and normal light. Excellent images with my Nikon 18-200mm lens. About the same weight as the D70, which is not light.
The two-card system is fantastic. Also, the flexibility one has in creating one's custom settings and saving them. This excellent innovation will not disappoint.
