I traded up from an older sony camera and really love this camera. I just started doing some creative work and can use the pictures I take to put into my design.
The battery life is not great, but I purchased an extra battery as a back up to use on my trip. I also used the video and it's pretty good.
The reason I bought this camera was because it was light and easy to slip into my pursue. It takes great pictures.
