No Viewfinder makes it less versatile

Olympus doesn't highlight the lack of a viewfinder. Having always been an Olympus fan I saw the features on this camera and jumped on it. To my surprize noe viewfinder, might work well for some folks but I like the ability to use the viewfinder more than not. Many good features if you can get over this, I couldn't and bought my first Nikon with even more features. Sorry Oympus.

This takes great clear pictures of items we put on [...]. Better pictures than some other people have on their auctions. Very easy to use and easy to learn from the instructions. I would recommend this camera to anyone from a beginner to an expert photographer.

The Olympus SP-800 is an Amazing Camera. I was concidering an SLR to get the benefits of up close macro shots to far away telephoto shots through changeable lenses but didn't have to spend the money because this camera does all that and more. The "super macro" setting lets you get sharp clear detail of a subject at just centemeters away that you cannot get with a point and shoot. There is no end to how creative you can get with the settings in the camera. I couldn't be happier and would definitely recommend it!
