I am never without a camera, I always carry the Olympus Stylus. It is durable and I dont have to treat it like a piece of crystal. Every piece of equipment has it limitations, and educated buyer knows what they are purchasing.

I own a Pentax K20D, but was unwilling to put it in a "waterproof" case to take underwater, salt water at that. I purchased this camera 1 day prior to a trip to Kauai. Having basic photographic knowledge helped me to learn this camera on the plane trip and I was impressed how easy the menu and functions were to operate. The underwater shots came out GREAT with some photoshop level adjustments. The lag between wanting the picture and taking the picture was a long time, since I'm used to 5 frames per second, but it was acceptable. The only thing I really got annoyed with was the battery life. My suggestion to anyone wanting this camera will be to buy a spare battery.
