I have been knocking myself out to find a small camera that had more than 7MP that also had a larger imaging sensor. The A20 has a 1/1.8" sensor when the others of its type have a 1/2.5". The larger the sensor the larger the individual photo cells. This produces less noise in photos taken at higher ISOs. [...] I could not be more pleased with it. It takes better pictures with much lower noise than my Leica D-Lux 2 that I got rid of because of such high noise. The camera controls and menu are also much easier to use.
