Comments about Sony Sony Alpha DSLR-A580 Digital Camera with 18-55mm Lens, & Sony DT 55 - 200mm f/4-5.6 Lens:

This is a great combo deal. The longer zoom begins right where the shorter one leaves off, and it performs wonderfully. I shot some birds in flight using continuouos drive mode with the long lens at maximum zoom, following the birds as they flew by. Every shot came out incredibly clear. In low light, the camera does very well, with exellent results up to 800 ISO and very good results at 1600. Using the multi-exposure high ISO noise reduction, you can even get decent results with extremely high ISO settings such as 12800 or 25600, but you really need stationary subjects for this technique to work well. I still have a lot to learn about all the features of this camera, but so far I am very impressed.
