Comments about Kenko Kenko 0.5x Hi Resolution Wide Angle Conversion Lens for Digital Video and Digital Still Cameras.:
This lens has worked well for the past two years on my SD Cannon camcorder. I've captured some great tornadoes using this wide angle lens. Zooming through the lens produces very very blurry edges quickly.
I purchased a HD cannon and used this lens on it with very poor results. The outside edges are extremely blurry to the point I need to replace it.
In all, great for SD and inexpensive.

The lens arrived with 2 large black specs stuck on the internal side of the front lens. It must have been a manufacturer defect because the lens is completely sealed. I did some research thereafter and found that the defect is quite common for this lens. Avoid this lens.
Adorama was honorable and fast with processing the returns for this lens.
