This is a real good way to get a lens at a much reduced cost. And it carries a full Mfg warranty. Mine was as new, and works as it should. Good investment.

I was a little hesitant to buy refurbished, but the price was right, so I thought I'd try it. The lens seems new and works well. The range is perfect for family candid shooting and vacations. It is a great all in one lens.

Starting out a photography business, I needed a decent wide-range zoom until I can afford to buy more specialized lenses. So far this lens has been great and what I was expecting - meaning it's no L lens, but gives great quality for the price. Only problems I've had with it are accurate focus in cold temperatures.
