Comments about Canon Canon EF 28mm f/2.8 AutoFocus Wide Angle Lens - Gray Market:
Used this for a few days to shoot some funky portraits and some wide angle for a wedding. The autofocus was super loud (it's not a USM lens so I'm not surprised) and a little slow. If you use it with a good camera, the images are actually pretty sharp. So, if you are on a budget, it's not a bad wide angle, although if you are shooting with an APS-C camera, than you probably should look for an EF-S lens to accomodate the crop factor to get a true wide angle.
If you wanna have a backup 28, this is a good choice, otherwise save your money and get a nicer lens that is USM, IS, etc.

Comments about Canon Canon EF 28mm f/2.8 AutoFocus Wide Angle Lens - Gray Market:
Great lens for the price, it's no "L" quality, but the price reflects that. It's a great walk-around lens for a 1.6x digital. It's small and unobtrusive.

Comments about Canon Canon EF 28mm f/2.8 AutoFocus Wide Angle Lens - Gray Market:
I only owned this lens a few months. The auto focus was extremely loud. The sharpness was better than my cheap canon zoom lens, but not even close to the sharpness of my Canon 50mm f1.8 (the best lens for the money) This lens is OK but I wasn't extremely excited about it.
