I ordered this refurbished lens, and then I got the phone call to explain that it wasn't available. Since I'd already done the transaction, I accepted the suggestion that I instead take delivery of what had been graded as a used EX+ lens. Although it did not have the trunk-style case that is part of the original issue, however it did come with a very nice LowePro 600 AW II back-pack type case. While the lens is heavy, a pack such as that makes it easier to handle.

Unfortunately the lens was not in what I think of as Ex+ condition, and due to the condition of the camera that I also ordered, I didn't have a good combo to work with, and subsequently sent both the lens and the camera back. The lens DID produce some nice images, however due to the camera, it would autofocus slightly too close, but if I would focus further back on the ear of an animal, the eyes would usually be in focus.

But not being able to determine that everything was in good working order, I elected to return the items.

After a two week hassle, I finally got my money back.
