I use this lens for weddings & portraits mainly with small children running around. I love how quick this lens is to focus, it's amazing. Usually shoot at 2.8 and love the blur of the background and the clarity of the subject being so sharp. You don't even have to touch up the photos at times. With brides far away I love shooting candidly at the guests and capturing some awesome moments. This lens is heavy but that is the only downfall. I usually use 2 bodies and one of them is for this lens which never comes off. my only regret was not spending the $$ sooner, the photos are amazing and worth every cent. You cannot go wrong with this lens. No one will ever sell it so I had to buy it brand new and now I know why. Highly recomended!
