Great range. I use it for sports photograph mainly, but it also an awesome everyday main lens. The controls are easy to work with.

This lense is on my light weight go every where camera the 18-200mm makes for a great variety of compositions. It's light weight and small size make it sure to go everywhere I do

I recently purchased this lens for a vacation we were going on. I went out on a limb and only brought this lens in addition to a 35mm f1.8 prime lens. I am incredibly happy with this lens, it performed well at the beach, pool and in low light. bokeh is good, and the range is incredible The only downside I have found is that due to it being a durable metal lens, it is heavy.

I was reluctant to get a refurbished lens but it seems to be working just fine. I have been getting nice, consistent results in all kinds of situations.

This lens died on me within a year. I baby my camera and lenses I am so careful with them and this lens is now malfunctioning. If you unmount the lens and look through it with a flash light you can see a ribbon cable inside of the lens is sheered in half. So that being said now every time I have that lens mounted and turn the camera on it makes a horrible binding noise in the lens and needless to say the VR no longer works it just shakes the optics violently. I could think of so many better lenses for so much less.
There is a tip I would like to leave you with the larger the focal range the more there is to go wrong. Why do you think normal lenses take such crisp photos because it only has to do one thing and generally enables the lens to do that one thing well.
This has lots of features so it does a lot but it does none of it well.

This lens is used for Weddings, outdoor events, portraits, and just fot almost every thing. It is indeed a very good lens.

I had 14-24mm, 24-70mm, 70-200mm are all 2.8
I also had 50mm 1.4, 85mm 1.4 and 105mm 2.8.
Most of above my lens are perfect, but 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G ED IF AF-S DX VR II is convenient, just one lens do all.
