Comments about Nikon Nikon 24-85mm f/2.8-4 IF AF-D Autofocus Zoom Lens - Refurbished by Nikon U.S.A.:

Pros: Works well outdoors for all purpose photograph which with my D90 & D7000.(light travel lesns and have a tach sharp, fast auto-focus)this is a great lens for the price and effective quality of the mid-wide telephoto 3.5x zoom lens with f/2.8 maximum aperture at 24mm focal length (have better boken).
Cons: Poor in low light stooting-hard to auto-focus if you use; A.S.P.(without flashlight)
This lens is for FX format (Full-Frame)so, for DX format may not that flawless of the pictures and the Macro is only from 35mm up.
Summary; I may exchange or add a 16-85mm VR DX to better fit in my DX camera and or may wait for a new generation of D800 for test this lens?
