Bought this lens for a couple of weddings I'm doing. I have the Oly 18-180 which is good at weddings for zoom shots. Used this for the first time at another event and this is just perfecet for closer shots. Will look at the oly 50-200 for the longer shots next. The speed of focus of this lens has prometed me to look at better lenes that Olympus has to offer. You do get what you pay for.

There two things to highlight over all the rest: f2.8 and range from 12-60 that becomes an 24-120 in 35mm format.
With this two things makes this lens a "must have" for fourth-thirds. Just this two features lets you use the lens in many different situations, low light, outdoors...
There's a third feature; SWD but in my humble opinion it is not such a "super" as I expected. What really impressed me is the solid construction. By the way I saved up a couple of bucks because my lens is refurbished.
