A very nice lens for travel. Easy to carry, amazing output. Better than any other pentax wide-angle (including my 16-50, 16-45).

One of the main reasons to buy Pentax is for their Limited prime lenses. Small, beautifully constructed, with generally excellent optics. This little wide angle has extremely low distortion, is very flare-resistant, produces rich colors and nice contrast. A little corner softness and some CA under certain shooting conditions does not detract much from the overall quality of this lens.
