had the DT 50 1.8 and though it was a very good lens in optic quality. i wanted something faster and solid built for my A700. I purchased this lens in mint condition used for a great price. A lot of glass with the lens and it also comes with a nice bag.
Well all i can say is that i cannot part with it now. Its a super fast prime and great for indoors. Very sharp on all stops. The bokeh is the best i have ever seen.The HSM motor is silent. This lens looks very professional on a A700 body n also the Full Frame cameras.
