Comments about Sigma Sigma 55mm - 200mm f/4-5.6 DC Autofocus Zoom Lens for Olympus Four Thirds Mount Digital SLR Cameras.:

Pretty bokeh, nice reach, great for using on the playground with my kids or shooting animals at the zoo. It is not as sharp as the Olympus, but at the price it's an excellent lens.
I would have liked the lens to feel more substantial. It feels a little cheap, but given the price point and the quality, I'm very happy with my purchase.

Bought this lens as my main lens for an olympus E300 i acquired. Picture quality is excellent with this lens, far superior to the kit lens. Very fast, quick focus, and great for using natural lighting. Great for in door action and portaits. First time ive tried sigma, and is sharper than my 17-85mm is usm canon lens i have on a canon eos 30d.

I photograph hydrplane racing on a low budget. I took a chance on this lens figuring I could sell it if it wasn't good. I didn't have much confidence going in but was willing to take the gamble. I was glad I did. The boats I photograph race on a 2 mile course hitting speeds of 200mph and this lens had no problems. I did not experience blurry pics. I didn't have to adjust the way that I shoot to accomodate for the lens being a lower end lens. I was very pleased with how it performed and don't go to a race without it. For stuff not moving 200mph I was equally impressed.

I bought this lens when I was first starting with photography and dropped my original 40-150 mm Zuiko lens. Working with the budget, I thought I should try this lens. If you plan to use the lens solely on bright days or if you can't afford the Zuiko version by all means get this one. But for the extra [$]and sans 50 mm the Zuiko offers you are still better off with the Zuiko version.
